Right now, our frontline healthcare workers are caught in a fight with COVID-19.

By donating to The Frontline Fund, which represents Canadian hospital foundations dealing with COVID-19 all across the country, you can help arm frontline healthcare workers in Canada with what they need to defeat COVID-19.

We all appreciate how much our governments are doing to support Canada's healthcare system through this unprecedented challenge. However, at times like these, philanthropy is more important than ever to help enhance these efforts and get as much support as possible to the healthcare workers on the frontline. The Frontline Fund has been created with this goal in mind. View the press release.

All donations to The Frontline Fund will be shared nationally with the hospital foundations who have selected to take part in the initiative and will help to meet the highest-priority needs of hospitals across Canada, including urgent measures to combat COVID-19, as well as to support the Northern Territories and Indigenous Health. These needs focus on three key pillars:

Supplies

From personal protective equipment like masks, disinfectants, and disposable clothing; to life-saving ventilators and testing equipment; to the digital infrastructure needed to enable virtual patient care, frontline healthcare workers need more tools to win this battle and keep Canadians safe.

Supports

Being on the frontlines of this pandemic takes a huge toll. Gift cards, peer-to-peer mental health support, and hotel rooms near the hospital will help our frontline workers protect their families, get much needed rest, and prepare themselves for the effort ahead.

Research

Our hospitals need funding to conduct vital research like clinical drug trials to discover therapeutic breakthroughs and intense vaccine development efforts.
